Web Site Developer. Immediate Opening.

We are looking for a Web site developer for a contract to full-time position. We are not relocating for this position, only local applicants please.

Must demonstrate expert-level development skills across a range of technologies including:

  • .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C#, etc.) JavaScript, HTML, CSS DHTML, XML, PHP, and SQL Server
  • Development experience with blogs and RSS Feeds is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple web projects simultaneously on a daily basis
  • Design, code, test, and deploy client-server Web sites/systems utilizing Web UIís and SQL Server database backend systems
  • Analyze and drive the resolution of system issues/errors
  • Develop requirements specifications and other system documentation
  • Work with assigned online media team, design and editorial on Web-related projects
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A proven track record of launching interactive web sites and applications
  • At least five (5) years of hands-on programming experience, including three (3) years experience developing database driven Web sites/applications
  • Comfortable designing database schemas and DB maintenance tasks
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
