Objective: Develop a lead generation campaign for Applied Systems' new insurance agency management product, Epic.

Challenge: Current customers were perfectly happy with their existing Applied software; prospects were using competitors' products. The insurance industry is typically risk averse when it comes to new products.

Solution: Leverage early adopter and Beta customers of Applied's Epic product. Hodgson/Meyers developed the Epic Road Trip campaign to highlight Epic users who were already reaping the rewards of Epic. We interviewed insurance agents and brokers across the country and created compelling and authentic customer testimonial videos —and accompanying print and banner ads — which told real stories from real agent.

Results: The microsite hosting the testimonial videos received well over 700 visits with an average view time considerably higher than the corporate site average. The microsite also had an astonishing 16.4% return visitor rate thanks to new testimonial videos being posted every few weeks.
