Objective: CSG is well known for providing customer engagement software and services for the cable TV and mobile phone industries. CSG wanted to make inroads into the utility industry as well.

Challenge: CSG was not well known in the utility arena. As such, the water and power companies had either gone with competing products or developed in-house systems.

Solution: This campaign highlighted the benefits of the unique customer knowledge utilities could gain using CSG's Customer Interaction Suite. The creative work portrayed sample end-user profiles, detailing things like communication channel preference and energy usage stats. Hodgson/Meyers integrated print ads, banner ads, website and tradeshow elements into a cohesive campaign to deliver a 'get to know your customer' story.

Results: Noticeably different than typical utility market creative, the campaign received positive feedback from CSG's prospect audience as well as the publications that typically saw the same old same old creative approaches.
