Objective: F5 Networks designs and manufactures complex networking technologies in an extremely competitive industry. Our job was to help F5 create a brand and market position that could be easily recognized and understood by potential customers, partners, and investors.
Challenge: Simplify and elevate complex technologies. Communicate the high-level benefits that F5 products deliver, not the multitude of features and functions that are typically promoted by technology companies.
Process: Evaluate the F5 brand and position from an internal and external perspective. Secure involvement and buy-in from company stakeholders, including the executive team. Deliver critical brand recommendations and execute marketing tactics that support the new brand and position.
Solution: Elevate the F5 brand through new positioning and messaging architecture highlighting real world benefits. Extend and expand the company's unique logo through new mediums. Create a new tagline, "The World Runs Better With F5," that speaks to a broader audience. Executions include Web, and online and offline advertising campaigns.
