
CSG International / "Knockout!"
Objective: Reach 100 key decision makers in the cable and satellite TV industry with news of a powerful analytic customer engagement solution.
Challenge: This audience is typically bombarded with appeals, making the prospect of standing out amidst the clutter especially challenging.
Solution: Cable and satellite TV operators are beset by churn, the constant leave taking of subscribers for other companies' services. To combat churn, Hodgson/Meyers came out fighting. We developed an oversized, personalized direct mail piece containing a pair of Everlast boxing gloves. Recipients were exhorted to "Knockout Churn with CSG." Our graphic approach delivered pertinent information as if the recipient was partaking in a heavyweight championship bout.
Results: In addition to generating sales meetings, this campaign garnered a number of national "gold" creative awards.
