
Applied Systems / "Day in the Life"
Objective: Demonstrate how many ways Applied Systems' new insurance agency management software, Epic, makes agents' and brokers' lives easier.
Challenge: Current customers were perfectly happy with their existing Applied software; prospects were using competitors' products. The insurance industry is generally risk averse when it comes to new software.
Solution: Hodgson/Meyers filmed a "Day in the Life" of an Epic user. Eight short videos portrayed the many times during the day when Epic helps agents and brokers to perform in minutes tasks that would have before taken hours. In short, Applied Systems helps everyone enjoy an Epic day.
Results: The interactive video, posted on Applied's home page, generated over 3000 page views, with 12.5% of people returning to the page. The average time spent on the page was 3:20 minutes, which is considerably higher than the average for the Applied website, and indicative the effectiveness of the campaign.
